After practicing law in Nevada for six years, including three as a staff attorney for the Nevada Supreme Court, Colin returned to the Bay Area to represent insurers. For the last 25 years, he has provided coverage advice and engaged in coverage litigation, both bad faith defense and inter-insurer disputes. His focus has been in first-party property, third-party liability, construction defect, employment practices, and trucking cases. After five years as in-house coverage counsel for AIG, he has settled into law firm practice.
Colin is licensed in California and Nevada. Similarly, he has dual U.S./German citizenship, and, when not being a coverage geek, has explored 107 countries (so far), spending over three years traveling abroad.
